Hiking the Valley of the Five Lakes in Jasper National Park

My wife and I went to try hiking the Valley of the Five Lakes during our first visit to Jasper National Park in the summer of 2020. It is a 4.8 km loop with a few steep uphill and downhill sections, generally a moderate hike. People say that it takes about 1 hour and forty-five minutes to 2 hours of walking to complete the loop. But since it is the first time that we are going hike (yes, first time after 40 years 😄), we decided not to go through the whole loop and instead go straight to the fifth lake then come back to the parking lot. Guess what? it took us two and a half hours back and forth cause we have to take a rest a hundred times 😂😂. Sharing with you the photos of our first hiking adventure…
